I. Courses:
January – February (6 weeks) Inquiry Into The Orthodox Way Of Life
An introduction to the basics of the Orthodox faith offering the student new knowledge about or a refresher in holy Orthodoxy as well as the opportunity to inquire about questions and topics of spiritual interest
March – April (6 weeks) The Holy Church Fathers
During the season of Great Lent, this is an introduction to the theology, spirituality and writings of the preeminent Church Fathers as they relate to daily life and elements of spiritual renewal.
May – June (4 weeks) Living With Christ Throughout The Church Year
From Church life and traditions season to season, including pious customs and ethnic heritage, to understanding and reading the Orthodox Calendar.
July – August ~ Summer Break
August - September (6 weeks) Canon Law Class
A basic introduction to Canon Law including the Canons & Guidelines of the OCE
October - November (6 weeks) Church Terminology
Learn basic terms of Christian church terminology, its correct pronunciation, origin and meaning. Learn about specific Orthodox terms, their spiritual meaning from the original Greek context and its understanding throughout history.
