Meister Eckhart Divinity School
Credit Transfer Program
Credit transfer is a way, in which academic credentials, professional experience and earned degrees from another school or entity, including former st. Elias school of orthodox theology, can be accredited at meister eckhart divinity school.
Schools, church jurisdictions and employers may use these newly issued credentials to better understand the candidate's ecclesial education and to more adequately evaluate applicants for admission, incardination, ordination or employment.
Meister Eckhart Divinity School can only analyze and accredit credentials within its parameters of a divinity school. Hence, any newly established credits and/or degrees that the school issues can only be within its ecclesial realm. In other words, any degree that meister eckhart divinity school bestows upon a student must be that of theology or related church disciplines.
In order for Meister Eckhart Divinity School to accept previously earned credentials, including relevant work experience or internships (practicum), the student must be able to supply verifiable evidence, such as official transcripts, school or work documents. A mere reference letter from another person and/or a mere listing of credits or diplomas does not suffice.
